Spiritual counselling, also called intuitive counselling, is counselling that makes room for the spiritual side of life. The two names describe the same work. Christina Feyes listens as a trained counsellor and also uses her intuition and mediumship to sense the deeper patterns behind what you bring, so the work reaches the root rather than circling the surface. It is not a psychic reading or fortune telling. It suits spiritual awakening, sensitivity, grief, questions of faith and meaning, and the feeling that ordinary talk therapy has missed something. Sessions run 60 to 90 minutes, in person by appointment from the Gold Coast to Tamborine Mountain, depending on venue and availability, or online and by phone anywhere in Australia. A free 15-minute assessment is the first step.

A word of hope
Many people arrive feeling lost, sensitive, or out of step with their own life.
If something in you keeps asking for deeper answers, that is not a problem to fix. It is often the beginning of coming home to yourself. In a grounded, unhurried space, the questions that felt confusing can start to make sense, and your intuition can become something you trust rather than something you second-guess. You do not need to believe anything in particular to begin.

How Christina works
This is not vague or ungrounded work, and it is never a performance. Christina is a trained counsellor who also has natural intuitive and mediumship ability and more than twenty years of lived spiritual experience. That means your sessions can move gently across the emotional, the psychological and the spiritual, without ever losing the ground under your feet.
Real counselling skill and training in psychology, social work and human services keep the work safe, steady and rooted in what is actually happening in your life.
Christina’s natural intuitive sensing is woven in with care, offered as a gentle reflection you can test against your own knowing, never as a fixed prediction.
Awakening, meaning, faith and the deeper questions are welcomed into the room, so the spiritual part of you is included rather than left waiting outside.

What this work can support
These are some of the threads people bring, often tangled together rather than tidy.
For times when everything feels like it is opening up or breaking apart, and you need a steady hand to walk beside you through it.
For sensitives and empaths learning to trust their own signals, set boundaries and stop absorbing everyone else’s weather.
For grief, anxiety and old wounds that also carry a spiritual dimension asking to be understood, not just managed.
For when a relationship, a job or a whole way of living no longer matches who you are becoming, and you want to move honestly.
Mediumship
Christina is also a medium. She does not do psychic readings or fortune telling. Her mediumship helps her understand what sits underneath what you bring, so you are not left explaining the same thing for months. Where it serves you, and only if you want it, especially in grief, a session can include a gentle sense of connection with someone who has passed, without promises about what will come through.
Grief for someone who has died and, where it helps, a felt sense of connection with them and with what was left unsaid.
Old patterns in relationships, family or work that keep repeating, understood at their source rather than at the surface.
Decisions, direction and the questions you keep circling, met with grounded insight you can test against your own knowing.

Spiritual support across the Gold Coast
The Gold Coast has a genuine spiritual pulse once you look past the towers and the beaches. Up in the hinterland, Mount Tamborine and the Currumbin Valley are home to bathhouses, rainforest retreats and healers, and the Tallebudgera and Currumbin Valley wellness scene has been growing quietly for years. Down at Burleigh Heads there is a real yoga, breathwork and healing culture, and just south the spiritual influence of Byron Bay and the Northern Rivers spills over the border. Layered on top of all that is a steady stream of newcomers, drawn here for the lifestyle and the promise of a fresh start, often arriving in the middle of a life change, without their old support around them.
If the idea of sitting together in one room appeals, spiritual counselling sessions and group workshops can gather in person around the Gold Coast and up into the hinterland whenever a suitable venue is booked and Christina’s calendar has space. Online and phone sessions still reach every corner of the coast and the rest of Australia, so this work can also fit quietly around your life. You can also explore all Gold Coast counselling services.
Not on the Gold Coast? Christina offers spiritual counselling online and by phone across Australia, with a page for Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Hobart, Canberra, Darwin and Cairns.
Grounded, not guesswork
The Gold Coast is not short of readings, healings and workshops, and many of them are lovely. What is harder to find is a qualified counsellor who can also work intuitively, so the spiritual side is held with the same care as the emotional and psychological side.
Christina brings both together in one place, more than twenty years of spiritual and intuitive work alongside formal counselling training. That means you are neither dismissed by clinical services that have no room for your inner life, nor left feeling destabilised by ungrounded spiritual spaces. You get the depth and the safety at once.
More than two in five Australians, around 43.7 percent, meet the criteria for a mental disorder at some point across their lives, and many of these same people are also quietly seeking meaning, healing and a sense of direction. In Queensland, the ABS National Study of Mental Health and Wellbeing 2020 to 2022 found that 23.7 percent of people aged 16 to 85 lived with a mental disorder in the past twelve months, so if you are carrying something heavy right now, you are far from alone.

About Christina
Christina Feyes founded Soul Counselling in 2012 and is based on the Gold Coast. Local clients can sit with her in person by appointment, depending on venue and availability, and people right across Australia work with her online and by phone. She is a counsellor with training in psychology, social work and human services, alongside more than twenty years of intuitive and spiritual experience. She sits comfortably where science and spirit meet, and does not ask you to choose between them. Christina is a Christian with a spiritual, open-hearted approach to faith, and people of every faith, or none, are equally welcome.
What people tend to value is that her clinical understanding and her natural intuitive insight arrive together, in the one conversation. She can stay with the practical reality of your week, the bills, the relationship, the sleepless nights, while also honouring the deeper spiritual layer moving underneath it. She is a counsellor, and she does not diagnose, prescribe or promise a cure. The work is simply to help you feel more like yourself.
Common questions
If your question is not here, the free 15-minute assessment is the easiest way to ask it.
Yes. Spiritual counselling and intuitive counselling are two names for the same work. Both mean grounded counselling that also makes room for intuition, meaning, faith and the spiritual side of what you are going through. Some people search for one name and some for the other, so you will see both used here.
There are no prices or fees quoted here because the honest first step is free. You can book a free 15-minute assessment with Christina to talk about what is going on, ask anything you like and get a feel for how she works. There is no card required and no obligation to continue, so genuinely there is nothing to lose by having that first conversation and seeing whether it feels like a fit for you.
It is grounded counselling first. Christina is a trained counsellor and the work is built on real therapeutic skill, safety and understanding of what is happening in your life. Her natural intuitive and mediumship ability is woven in gently, offered as reflection rather than performance or prediction. Christina does not do psychic readings or fortune telling, and the counselling itself always stays grounded and clinically minded.
Not at all. Plenty of people come simply because they feel anxious, low or lost and sense there is something more underneath it. You do not have to hold any particular belief, use any language you are not comfortable with, or take on Christina’s worldview. She meets you exactly where you are. The spiritual layer is only ever included if and when it feels true and useful for you, never imposed.
Christina is a Christian, and she brings a spiritual, open-hearted approach to faith rather than a set of rules. If your faith is important to you, it is welcome in the room and can be part of the conversation. If you hold a different faith, or none at all, that is equally welcome. Nothing is imposed, and the work always follows what feels true for you.
Ordinary counselling often has no room for the spiritual or intuitive side of your experience, and can quietly treat it as a symptom. Here that part of you is welcome. Christina keeps all the grounding and safety of good counselling while also honouring intuition, awakening and meaning. So you can talk about your relationship and your anxiety and the sense that your soul is asking for something different, all in the same conversation.
Christina is genuinely local, based on the Gold Coast, and her deeper mediumship and spiritual work is rooted here too. To be clear about how sessions run, there are two ways to meet. Some people find intuitive and energy-aware work lands differently when they share the same physical space, so one-to-one spiritual and intuitive sessions, and the spiritual development workshops, can be held in person anywhere from the coast up to Tamborine Mountain, once a suitable venue is secured and an available appointment is confirmed. Christina does not run a drop-in practice, so where you meet is worked out together beforehand. Others find the work flows just as well from a quiet, familiar corner at home, and video and phone sessions keep it flexible and private, whether you are in Burleigh, Palm Beach, the hinterland or anywhere else in Australia.
Yes. Many people come while grieving and hope to feel connected to someone they have lost. Christina holds that gently within counselling, without promises about what will come through, and always with care for the grief itself. You can mention it in your free assessment so the session is shaped around what you need.
The simplest way is to book a free 15-minute assessment, either through the booking option on this page or by calling 0479 144 561. In that first chat you can share a little of what is going on, ask any questions and notice how it feels to talk with Christina. From there you can decide, with no pressure at all, whether you would like to continue. Taking that first small step is often the hardest and most healing part.
No. Soul Counselling is not a crisis or after-hours service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 000.
If any of this speaks to you, start with a free 15-minute assessment, no card and no obligation, just a gentle chance to see whether this feels right.
