An online counsellor you can see from anywhere in Australia.
An online counsellor is a qualified counsellor who supports you by secure video call or phone instead of in a consulting room. The work is the same warm, confidential counselling you would have in person, only you join from home, from the car on a lunch break, or anywhere you feel safe to talk. Christina Feyes is an online counsellor you can work with wherever you are in Australia.
Christina founded Soul Counselling in 2016 and has more than ten years of practice, with training in psychology, social work and human services. She is a counsellor, not a registered psychologist, and she blends clinical grounding with intuitive, holistic depth. People come to her for anxiety, low mood and depression, grief and trauma, as well as individual counselling, couples counselling, and spiritual and intuitive growth.

Distance does not weaken good counselling. A 2018 meta-analysis published in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy concluded that internet-based therapy is as effective as face-to-face therapy for common concerns such as anxiety and depression.

Five-star Google reviews
People say the same thing after one call.
Most clients say they finally felt understood, often in the very first online conversation.
“I truly felt heard for the first time in all my life and deeply understood.”
“When I came to Christina I was drowning in darkness, now I am finally thriving again.”
“Due to her mediumship I was able to see core issues that I wasn’t able to recognise before.”
Why work with Christina
Clinical training, intuitive depth, and a room that travels to you.
Most people who find Christina online have tried other counselling first. What they notice is depth, and how much easier the work feels from a space that already feels safe.
Trained and grounded
A counsellor with training in psychology, social work and human services. Real frameworks, real safety, no guesswork.
Intuitive insight
Christina reads the pattern beneath the story, so sessions reach the root rather than circling the symptom.
Online, at your pace
By video or phone, from wherever you are in Australia. No traffic, no waiting room, and the pace always stays yours.
Honest fit
You do not have to book a full session yet.
Start with the free 15-minute call. Meet Christina, ask anything, and decide for yourself. If it is not the right fit, you will know, and no one chases you afterwards.
Christina is not the right counsellor for everyone. If you need a Medicare rebate, a formal diagnosis, or urgent crisis care right now, a GP, a registered psychologist or an emergency service will serve you better. If you want warm, in-depth counselling you can do from home, this may be your fit.
The people who get the most from this work are often the ones who were not completely sure. They simply took the 15 minutes.

Common questions
Online counselling, answered.
Straight answers to what most people ask before their first online session.
Is online counselling as effective as seeing someone in person?
For most common concerns, yes. A 2018 meta-analysis in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy found internet-based therapy is as effective as face-to-face work for issues such as anxiety and depression. Many people also find it easier to open up from a familiar space. Christina will tell you honestly if she thinks in-person or another kind of support would suit you better.
Do you cover my state or regional area?
Yes. Because sessions are online by video or phone, Christina works with clients across the whole of Australia, from capital cities to regional and remote areas. Her physical base is in Southport on the Gold Coast, but you do not need to live nearby, and there is no travel and no waitlist to reach her.
Are you a psychologist?
No. Christina is a counsellor, not a registered psychologist. She has more than ten years of practice and training in psychology, social work and human services, and she blends that clinical grounding with intuitive, holistic depth. If you specifically need a Medicare rebate or a formal diagnosis, a GP or psychologist may suit you better.
How do online sessions actually work?
After your free 15-minute call you book a session at a time that suits you. You receive a private video link, and you join from a quiet, comfortable spot with a stable connection. Sessions usually run 60 or 90 minutes. If video is not ideal on the day, a phone session works just as well.
Is it private and confidential?
Yes. Online sessions are held over a secure video connection and are treated with the same confidentiality as an in-person session. It helps to choose a private space where you will not be interrupted. If you have questions about privacy, you can raise them on your free 15-minute call before committing to anything.
