Spiritual Counselling
Spiritual Counselling, Online Across Australia
Spiritual counselling, for when you sense there is more to it.
Counselling that tends to the soul as well as the mind. I am Christina Feyes, a counsellor with training in psychology, social work and intuitive healing, offering spiritual counselling online and by phone across Australia, and on the Gold Coast where I am based.
Book a free 15-minute assessmentWhat spiritual counselling is
Ordinary counselling tends to the mind and the story. Spiritual counselling holds those too, and makes room for the soul, for meaning, and for the questions that sit underneath everything else.
It is talking therapy with a wider lens. We work with what is happening in your life and your feelings, the grounded clinical work, while also honouring that you are more than a set of symptoms. For people who have always felt there is a spiritual dimension to their struggles, or who are moving through an awakening, a loss, or a search for purpose, that fuller picture can be a profound relief.
You might be here because
- Ordinary counselling has helped, but something deeper has stayed untouched.
- You are going through a spiritual awakening and are not sure what is happening to you.
- You feel successful on paper and quietly empty underneath.
- A loss has cracked open big questions about meaning, death and what comes next.
- You sense you are here for something, and you want to understand what.
- You are highly sensitive or intuitive and have never had space to explore that side of you.
How I hold both
Clinically grounded and spiritually open. You never have to choose between being taken seriously and being met on a soul level.
Clinical foundation
Real training in psychology, social work and human services. This is not vague mysticism. The ground is solid and safe.
Intuitive depth
Where it serves you, an intuitive reading of what sits beneath the surface, the soul-level patterns the mind alone cannot reach.
No belief required
You bring your own beliefs, or none. Nothing is imposed. The work meets you exactly where you are, sceptic or seeker.
Explore the spiritual work
Spiritual counselling is the doorway. From here, the work can take several forms, depending on what is calling you.
Intuitive counselling
Counselling that draws on intuition to reach what is really going on beneath the words.

How to tell a genuine spiritual awakening from a mental health crisis, and why it matters.
Read →What spiritual counselling can help with
You do not need a crisis or a belief system to come. Curiosity and a sense that there is more are enough.
Spiritual awakening
Making sense of an opening that can feel as disorienting as it is profound, with steady support.
Meaning and purpose
Finding what you are here for and what fulfils you at a soul level, not just on paper.
Grief and the big questions
Loss often opens questions about death, the soul and what endures. A place to hold them.
Disconnection
Feeling cut off from yourself, from others, or from something larger, and finding your way back.
Sensitivity and intuition
Understanding and working with a highly sensitive, intuitive or empathic nature instead of against it.
Life transitions
Thresholds that are practical and spiritual at once, and the chance to cross them consciously.
Grounded as well as open
The spiritual is held within real counselling, never instead of it.
“Christina helped me understand the underlying issues which kept me stuck.”Georgia
This matters, because the spiritual space can attract a lot that is ungrounded. With me, the soul-level work always sits on a foundation of genuine clinical training and care, and the healing comes from being met fully, mind and soul, by someone who can hold both. You can read more about how I work on the individual counselling page and who I am on the about page.
An honest word. Spiritual counselling is not for everyone, and that is completely fine. If you want purely clinical, framework-based therapy with no spiritual dimension, that is a valid choice and a registered psychologist may suit you better. And if what you are facing is a mental health crisis rather than an awakening, please reach your GP, Lifeline on 13 11 14, or 000. The spiritual lens is an offering, never a replacement for proper care.

What is spiritual counselling?
It is talking therapy with a wider lens. Alongside the usual work with your feelings and your life, it makes room for the soul, for meaning, and for the spiritual dimension of what you are going through. It is grounded in real clinical training, not vague mysticism.
Do I have to be religious or believe in anything?
No. You bring your own beliefs, or none at all. Nothing is imposed on you. The work meets you where you are, whether you are a committed seeker or a curious sceptic.
How is it different from ordinary counselling?
Ordinary counselling tends to the mind and the story. Spiritual counselling holds those too, and also makes space for soul-level patterns, meaning and the bigger questions. With me it always sits on a clinical foundation, so you are taken seriously and met deeply at the same time.
Are you a psychologist?
No. I am a counsellor with a background in psychology, social work and human services, and I do not diagnose or prescribe. If you want purely clinical, diagnostic treatment, a registered psychologist is the right path. Spiritual counselling is a different, complementary kind of support.
What does it cost to find out if it is right for me?
Nothing. The first step is a free 15-minute assessment, with no card and no obligation. It is a genuine conversation, so you can feel whether this way of working suits you before going further.
Can we meet online?
Yes. Sessions are held online or by phone across Australia, so you can do this from wherever you are, privately and without travel.
Mind and soul
Be met on every level.
A free, no-pressure conversation is the simplest place to begin.
