Cairns Counselling Services

If you are living anywhere across Cairns or the wider Far North and carrying anxiety, grief, trauma, the strain of a struggling relationship, a spiritual awakening or a season of big change, there is somewhere to turn. Soul Counselling offers grounded, compassionate support shaped around your own story rather than a one-size-fits-all script.

You work directly with Christina Feyes, a counsellor with more than ten years of training in psychology, social work and human services, online or by phone. Her approach blends practical clinical support with a deeper intuitive and holistic kind of healing.

Whether you are in the CBD or along the Esplanade, out at Palm Cove, Trinity Beach, Smithfield or Edmonton, or further afield on the Atherton Tablelands, the Cassowary Coast or up toward Cape York and the Torres Strait, sessions come to you online and by phone. There is no waiting room, no long drive into town, and no season that closes the door.

In the Australian Bureau of Statistics National Study of Mental Health and Wellbeing for 2020 to 2022, close to one in four Queenslanders, around 23.7 percent, lived with a mental disorder in a single twelve-month period, so if you are finding it hard right now you are far from alone.

Areas of support for Far North Queensland

A good place to begin is with whatever sits closest to your own experience, and if you are unsure the free assessment can help bring it into focus. Culturally safe, Indigenous-led support is also available across Far North Queensland, and 13YARN on 13 92 76 offers a yarn with an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander crisis supporter whenever you need it.
