Her story

A different kind of counselling.

Christina founded Soul Counselling in 2016, and has spent many years sitting with people through anxiety, depression, grief, relationship breakdown, trauma and the quiet sense that the old way of living no longer fits. A counsellor with training in psychology, social work and human services, she pairs grounded, person-centred counselling with a deep intuitive sensitivity for what is really going on beneath the surface.

What sets her work apart is space. Most counselling is squeezed into a standard hour. Christina’s sessions run 90 to 105 minutes, so there is time to settle in, follow the feeling wherever it leads, and not be cut short by the clock. As her clients often note, longer sessions tend to mean fewer of them, because the work can reach the heart of things.

People frequently arrive having tried other counsellors or psychologists without ever feeling truly met. What changes with Christina is the depth of being heard. From that safety, the work moves beneath the symptom to the root that kept someone stuck, and clients describe the shift happening quickly, sometimes in a single session.

Grounded and intuitive.

Christina holds two threads together. The first is steady, practical counselling for everyday struggles. The second is an intuitive, spiritual dimension that many of her clients seek out by name. She lets each person lead, meeting them exactly where they are and however they want to work.

An author in the field.

Christina is also the author of Realizing Death, a reflective book on grief, loss and the deeper questions that surface around mortality and meaning. It grew directly out of her years in the counselling room, and offers a calm, unhurried companion for anyone making sense of loss.

Genuinely heard

An unhurried, judgement-free space where people feel, often for the first time, truly listened to and understood.

Root-cause work

She listens for the grief, fear, trauma or old pattern sitting beneath the surface, and helps you see what you could not see alone.

Lasting change

The aim is not coping strategies that fade, but a felt shift, lighter, clearer, and more reconnected to yourself and your direction.
