More than two in five Australians, around 43.7 percent, will meet the criteria for a mental disorder at some stage in life, and many of those same people are also quietly searching for meaning, healing and direction. In South Australia, the Australian Bureau of Statistics found that about 21.6 percent of adults experienced a mental disorder in a single twelve month period, which tells you how many people around you are carrying more than they show.

How Christina works

How this work actually works

Intuitive counselling with Christina is not a reading and it is not a performance. It is real counselling, built on clinical training, with intuitive and spiritual insight woven in gently and only where it serves you. Three threads run through every session.

Clinical grounding

Everything begins with grounded, evidence informed counselling. Christina listens for what is really happening in your life, your relationships, your body and your history, and helps you make sense of it in practical, human terms. Nothing here bypasses the hard, ordinary work of healing.

Intuitive insight

Alongside her training, Christina brings natural intuitive and psychic sensitivity built over more than twenty years. She notices the quiet things that often go unspoken, the feeling underneath the words, and reflects them back so you feel genuinely seen rather than analysed from a distance.

Spiritual integration

When a spiritual layer is clearly part of your experience, it is honoured, not treated as a symptom. Together you make room for meaning, for the sense of something larger, and for the awakening you may be moving through, while staying steady and grounded the whole way.

Go deeper

Reading before you reach out

If you are still weighing whether intuitive counselling is for you, it can help to read a little first. Christina writes about sensitivity, awakening, grief and the tender in between places where the emotional and the spiritual meet, in plain and honest language.

What this work can support

What people bring to these sessions

There is no single reason people come. Often it is a mix of the emotional and the unseen, arriving together. These are some of the themes that come up most.

Spiritual awakening and opening

You feel more sensitive, more aware, sometimes overwhelmed by it. You want to understand what is opening in you and how to live with it steadily, without either shutting it down or being swept away.

Anxiety with a deeper root

The worry is real, and so is the sense that it is pointing at something. Together you tend to the anxiety with grounded tools while gently exploring the meaning it may be carrying for you.

Grief, loss and transition

When someone or something has gone, grief can crack you open in unexpected ways. This is a place to feel it fully, to look for meaning, and to find your footing again at your own pace.

Identity and life shifts

A relationship, a role or a whole chapter is changing, and you are not who you were. These sessions help you meet the new version of yourself with honesty, tenderness and a clearer sense of direction.

Ways to explore this work

Different doors into the same grounded, intuitive practice.

Start wherever feels right. Each one is held with the same care, and you can move between them over time.

About Christina

Someone who can hold both psychology and soul.

Christina Feyes founded Soul Counselling in 2016. She is a counsellor with training in psychology, social work and human services, and she brings more than twenty years of intuitive and spiritual experience alongside that formal grounding. She works with people right across Australia, holding science and spirit in the same steady hands rather than asking you to choose between them.

In practice this means you get real clinical understanding and natural intuitive insight together, the practical and the deeper spiritual layer, without either being lost. Christina is a counsellor, not a psychologist, and she does not diagnose, prescribe, treat or cure. What she offers is grounded, ethical support that takes your inner life seriously.

Common questions

Before you book.

If your question is not here, the free 15-minute assessment is the easiest way to ask it.

Is intuitive counselling expensive?

There are no prices to weigh up before you begin. You can start with a free 15-minute assessment, with no card required and no obligation, so you can get a genuine sense of Christina and how she works before you decide anything. Many people find that first quiet conversation is enough to know whether it feels right for them. There is truly nothing to lose in reaching out and simply having a talk first.

Is this real counselling or just a psychic reading?

This is grounded counselling first, always. Christina is a counsellor with training in psychology, social work and human services, and sessions are built on that clinical foundation. Her intuitive and spiritual sensitivity is woven in gently, only where it genuinely helps, and never as prediction or performance. You are not coming for a reading. You are coming for real, human support that also honours your inner and spiritual life rather than dismissing it.

Do I need to believe in anything spiritual to come?

Not at all. You are welcome exactly as you are, whether you hold firm spiritual beliefs, none at all, or sit somewhere curious in between. The work simply meets you where you stand and follows your lead. If a spiritual layer is real for you, it is honoured. If it is not, the counselling stays grounded and practical. Nothing is imposed on you, and you never have to adopt a belief to feel understood.

How is this different from ordinary counselling?

Ordinary counselling and this work share the same grounded foundation. The difference is that here your intuition and any spiritual dimension of your experience are welcomed into the room rather than sidelined. Christina brings natural intuitive insight alongside her clinical training, so you can explore meaning, sensitivity and awakening without leaving the practical, emotional work behind. For many sensitives and empaths, it is the first time both halves of them are held in one conversation.

Is there an Adelaide clinic, or are sessions online?

There is no Adelaide clinic. Soul Counselling’s only physical base is in Southport on the Gold Coast, and all Adelaide work is held online by video and by phone right across the city and South Australia. Many people find this easier and more comfortable, joining from home in the eastern suburbs, the CBD, North Adelaide or the coast. You get the same warmth and depth without any travel, parking or waiting rooms to manage.

Can we focus on mediumship or connecting with someone who has passed?

The counselling described on this page is grounded, therapeutic work, so it is not a mediumship session. Christina does offer deeper psychic and mediumship work, and channelling of Saint Germain, but those are separate offerings with their own pages. If connecting with someone who has passed is your main hope, it is worth exploring those pages, and you are always welcome to mention it during your free assessment so Christina can point you the right way.

How do I start?

Starting is simple and gentle. You can book a free 15-minute assessment or call Christina directly on 0479 144 561. That first conversation is relaxed and pressure free, a chance to share a little of what is going on and to feel whether this is the right fit for you. There is no card and no obligation. If it feels right, you can arrange a full session from there, and if it does not, that is completely okay too.

What if I am in crisis or really not coping?

Soul Counselling is not a crisis service and cannot provide emergency support. If you are in immediate danger or fear for your safety, please call 000 straight away. If you are struggling and need to talk to someone right now, Lifeline is available 24 hours a day on 13 11 14. These services are there for exactly these moments, and reaching out to them is a strong and caring thing to do. Once you feel safer, Christina is here for the deeper, ongoing work.

A gentle first step

If any of this speaks to you, start with a free 15-minute assessment. There is no card required and no obligation, just a quiet conversation to see whether this feels like the right fit. You have nothing to lose and a great deal you might gently gain.

Intuitive support across Adelaide

Adelaide has always held a spiritual pulse, and it is broadening

Adelaide earned the name City of Churches for a reason, with spiritual roots that reach back to the earliest days of the colony and landmarks like St Francis Xavier’s Cathedral still anchoring the city. That heritage has widened over the years into a warm and genuinely modern wellness culture. The Body Mind Psychic Expo is one of the largest holistic gatherings in the country, filling weekends with sound healing, cacao ceremonies, meditation and natural therapies. Established meditation and yoga communities meet in the leafy eastern suburbs and along the coast at Glenelg and Semaphore, and the slower, more affordable pace of the city leaves genuine room for real inner work. There is a contemplative quality here too, in the nearby wine country and the long stretch of sea, that many people find hard to name but easy to feel.

  • Grounded intuitive counselling that respects both your mind and your spirit.
  • Support for sensitivity, awakening and the quiet spiritual layer under everyday struggle.
  • A steady space for grief, anxiety, identity shifts and meaning making.
  • Sessions that fit the slower Adelaide pace and leave room for real reflection.

Sessions are held online and by phone across Adelaide and all of Australia, so this work fits quietly around your life. You can also explore all Adelaide counselling services.

Both worlds, held together

Plenty of spiritual offerings in Adelaide, fewer that are truly trained

If you have looked around Adelaide’s wellness scene, you will know there is no shortage of readings, workshops and healers. What can be harder to find is intuitive work that is also grounded in formal counselling training, so you are neither dismissed by clinical services nor destabilised by ungrounded spiritual spaces.

Christina holds both. She brings more than twenty years of intuitive and spiritual work together with formal counselling training in psychology, social work and human services. That means your intuition and your spiritual experience are taken seriously, while your emotional wellbeing stays anchored in careful, ethical practice. You do not have to leave half of yourself at the door.
